BLACK & WHITE
Sass & Bide, absolute favorite show thus far for FW2010.
And, Rad Hourani's got the unisex thing down PAT; I can honestly say I'd wear any one of these.
BABES
Tattoed babes, from the 1920s and 50s. Strange to think that this degree of body art was grotesque enough to warrant participation in a circus sideshow.
Plus, tattooing a bra seems like a supremely bad idea. But our anonymous friend below is rocking a faux bra, and, dare I say it, it looks strangely...satisfying?

KRONIER CRAZY
stumbled on German designer Kronier Creations a few months ago, after reading a sort of bitter comment on another post about how they'd been making these platform boots for decades before those Nina Ricci's broke onto the scene and became enormously popular. I don't know that the Nina Ricci's were ever produced for the public, but these are a totally viable alternative! And Kronier makes them in blue metallic and a latexy type material. How can one resist latex??
GLUTTONIZING
Of course I like jagged crystal teeth, and glimmering crowns fashioned from hands... And so does Rupert Kojima, the designer behind Hotel Gluttony, and the creator of these seriously beautiful and very mad jewelry objets. (My kinda boy.)
a song for friday. Mumford & Sons
Can you lie next to her
And give her your heart, your heart
As well as your body
And can you lie next to her
And confess your love, your love
As well as your folly
And can you kneel before the king
And say I’m clean, I’m clean
But tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
Oh tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
A white blank page
and a swelling rage, rage
You did not think
when you sent me
to the brink, to the brink
You desired my attention
but denied my affections, my affections
And give her your heart, your heart
As well as your body
And can you lie next to her
And confess your love, your love
As well as your folly
And can you kneel before the king
And say I’m clean, I’m clean
But tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
Oh tell me now, where was my fault
In loving you with my whole heart
A white blank page
and a swelling rage, rage
You did not think
when you sent me
to the brink, to the brink
You desired my attention
but denied my affections, my affections
